When you are ready to publish your site
Click on the 'Publish' Button - Top Right
You will be asked to select a name to go after the word view in the FREE domain name provided by Google:
https://sites.google.com/view/
Provided it is not already in use - Google will publish and host your site for free.
An example would be:
https://sites.google.com/view/stephaniescandles
Congratulations: You are published on the web, but the name may be a bit cumbersome. There are two solutions
Buy a Domain Name (less than £2 or $2 for the year). This can be assigned just like the site you are on. (full instructions available)
or you can go to a free shortening service like Bit.Ly.
They will allow you to shorten your link to the following for example: https://bit.ly/wedplan1 and it's completely free!!
At any time you can go back to your edit page and make changes to your site but remember to hit publish or they won't take effect.
